In response to the Alabama Supreme Court's recent ruling on IVF, MK Quinlan is proud to host a group art show at the shop, opening on Friday, April 26th, with women's reproductive agency as its unifying theme. All proceeds from the show will be donated to RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, and will be earmarked exclusively for their advocacy work in Alabama.
If you're an artist working in Alabama or elsewhere in the U.S., we invite you to submit an original work of art created in response to the recent legislation. (To learn more about the legislation, we recommend reading this article).
We are accepting paintings, drawings, mixed-media, photography, and small sculptural works. We ask that your work be no larger than 36 x 48 and for sculptures to be small enough to fit on a 20" x 20" pedestal.
All art submitted should be ready for hanging, either by frame or wired canvas. Submissions are due by March 22nd. We will let you know by email if your work has been selected by April 3rd.
